One shared picture of the facts
A request for information or an investigation raises questions for the board, privacy professionals and IT. I help clarify which systems, processing activities and parties are relevant and what information is available.
Careful alignment
We bring requests, deadlines, documents and owners together. Legal assessment and communication are coordinated with the privacy or legal specialists involved. Technical findings must be recorded clearly and in a verifiable way.
My role
I connect technical reality with organisational decision-making. Think data flows, access rights, supplier agreements and gathering relevant documentation. This creates a useful dossier and a clear overview of next steps.
An investigation is not the same as a data breach
The circumstances and obligations differ from one situation to another. A data breach requires its own assessment. For current information on privacy supervision and data breaches, BIT2 refers you to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
